The Rotary Club meets sport and disability
The evening dedicated to sport and disability took place on 19 June at the headquarters of the Rotary Club of San Vito al Tagliamento. The intervention of the president of AMSI FVG Alessandro Pandolfo, recently reconfirmed in the top position, has taken as a starting point the concept that the greatness of man lies in his decision to be stronger than his condition. And this is what every day all children with disabilities demonstrate to their relatives and coaches in all sports. Pandolfo also recalled the excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia in the teaching of the discipline of skiing for the disabled, to which more than 50 specialized instructors are dedicated in the region and that has seen numerous athletes go to medal in national and international competitions. The evening was attended by the President of the Rotary Club of San Vito al Tagliamento, Maria Cristina Strasiotto, who emphasized the sensitivity of Rotary towards this theme and the constant commitment to the promotion of the values of growth and aggregation of which sport is has always been placed as an essential point of reference.
